We were inspired to call our company Eagle + Condor Wellness because of our deep connection to the ancient prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor, a profound teaching shared by indigenous cultures across the Amazon. This prophecy offers insight into the paths humanity has taken and the opportunity that now lies before us.

It is said that long ago, human societies split into two distinct paths: the way of the Eagle and the way of the Condor. The Eagle represents the path of the mind, industry, and the masculine energy, while the Condor embodies the path of the heart, intuition, and the feminine. These two paths have been in conflict for centuries, with the Eagle becoming so dominant that it nearly drove the Condor to extinction, beginning in the late 1400s.

According to the prophecy, however, the 500-year period that started in the 1990s brings a time of potential — a time when the Eagle and the Condor can come together, flying in harmony, and help humanity rise to a new level of consciousness. It is up to us to activate this potential, to create balance between the mind and heart, between industry and intuition, and between masculine and feminine energies.

Though this prophecy has been passed down orally in different forms by various indigenous communities, its message remains the same: the wisdom of the earth-based cultures, their deep connection to Pachamama — our Mother Earth — is needed now more than ever. Their ancient teachings guide us to live in harmony with the land, water, air, and all living beings, not only for the future of the Americas, but for the entire planet.
