Angela Lindvall is a globally recognized model, actress, and TV host whose image has graced the covers of top international magazines, including Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and many more. Renowned for her versatile beauty and ability to embody a range of styles, Angela has represented every major fashion house in international ad campaigns, including DKNY, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Prada, Dior, Valentino, FENDI, Chloé, Versace, and Louis Vuitton. She also served as the face of CoverGirl for three years, solidifying her place as one of the industry's most sought-after models. Her presence on the Victoria's Secret runway and roles in films such as CQ, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and Somewhere further highlight her dynamic career in fashion and entertainment. Angela also captivated audiences as the host of Lifetime’s Project Runway All Stars and co-hosted Planet Green’s Alter Eco alongside Adrian Grenier.
But while Angela is internationally celebrated for her fashion career, her deeper passion has always been rooted in health, wellness, and sustainability. In 2000, at the height of her modeling career and while living in New York City, she founded The Collage Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising environmental awareness through pop culture and media. Collage played a pivotal role in the birth of the "green" movement, using media and celebrity influence to bring environmental issues into mainstream consciousness. The foundation also founded the Rockland Farm Alliance, a community-supported agriculture (CSA) initiative that continues to promote sustainable farming in Rockland County, NY.
An early advocate for the interconnectedness of personal wellness and planetary health, Angela has dedicated herself to these causes for over two decades. In 2011, she became a certified yoga and meditation instructor, followed by certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2015, and in 2020, she earned her certification as a doula to support women on their journey into motherhood. For Angela, being a mother to her two sons is her most cherished role, and she raised them in California’s Topanga Canyon, where they learned firsthand the symbiosis between people and the planet by tending the land together.
Angela’s dedication to wellness extends far beyond her personal life. She founded Peace Begins In Me, a platform that offers yoga, meditation, workshops, and wellness events designed to foster holistic living and self-care. For Angela, self-care is more than just a personal practice; it is a global conversation. “Self-care implies not only caring for yourself physically and spiritually, it means taking care of the world we live in,” she says. “In that sense, self-care is probably the most important thing we can do for ourselves and for our planet.” During the pandemic, she expanded Peace Begins In Me to the online space, bringing her teachings to a wider audience.
Recently, Angela moved back to her roots in Kansas City, Missouri, where she is developing a regenerative farming vision on a 20-acre ranch, inspired by the farm-to-table approach she embraced in California. In this new chapter, she remains devoted to community wellness, leading yoga, coaching, and women’s circles.
Angela has also taken on a leadership role at Owl Hollow Farm, a nonprofit organization that provides equine therapy to children, with a focus on supporting the mental and emotional health of young people. In this role, she mentors students and helps guide the farm’s ongoing expansion, ensuring that it continues to serve the community effectively. Her work includes developing innovative programs that leverage the healing power of horses to help children manage trauma, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. Angela’s hands-on involvement at Owl Hollow has allowed her to combine her passion for wellness with her desire to impact the lives of youth, offering them a safe space to connect with nature, animals, and themselves. Her efforts are helping to shape the farm’s future, expanding its outreach and deepening its impact on the emotional well-being of the community’s most vulnerable members.
Her current projects also reflect her continued creative and ethical endeavors. Angela serves as a creative collaborator on her Peace Begins In Me jewelry collection for Article 22, which transforms shrapnel from Laotian landmines into wearable art. Through this project, Angela merges her advocacy for peace, sustainability, and design, continuing to inspire and influence at the intersection of style and substance.
Angela Lindvall’s life and career are a testament to her belief that true beauty radiates from within and is deeply connected to health, wellness, and a balanced lifestyle. Her ongoing work in sustainability, wellness, and community-building reflects her enduring commitment to making a positive impact, both in the fashion world and far beyond it.
